Position Summary:
The Client is looking for a senior Penetration Testing Manager to lead and coordinate penetration testing governance, cybersecurity risk assessment, stakeholder management, project tracking, reporting, documentation review, and vendor-managed testing activities.
This role requires at least 7+ years of overall professional experience, with strong exposure to penetration testing coordination, cybersecurity governance, technology project coordination, stakeholder management, audit support, and risk documentation. The role will involve working closely with internal technology teams, cybersecurity stakeholders, business units, vendors, and governance teams to ensure effective planning, coordination, tracking, reporting, and closure of security testing-related activities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, coordinate, and manage assigned penetration testing coordination responsibilities and related cybersecurity activities.
- Prepare, maintain, and track project plans, activity schedules, action items, implementation tasks, risk logs, issue logs, and status reports.
- Coordinate penetration testing schedules and activities across internal teams, business units, vendors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Support the Head of Department and senior stakeholders in preparing requested items for audits, examinations, reviews, and governance requirements.
- Schedule and coordinate independent third-party testing activities, including vulnerability scans, network penetration tests, application testing, and risk assessments.
- Assist in tracking remediation plans, follow-up actions, closure status, risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Work closely with Information Technology teams on technology refresh initiatives, core application upgrades, platform upgrades, and other system development lifecycle-related technology activities.
- Coordinate incoming project pipelines from business units and ensure proper scheduling, prioritisation, tracking, and follow-up.
- Organise stakeholder meetings, prepare clear agendas, document meeting minutes, and ensure action items are tracked to closure.
- Work across different verticals and stakeholders to coordinate vendor-managed testing activities.
- Maintain annual testing activity schedules, documentation review trackers, risk assessment updates, SOW review trackers, and related governance records.
- Review and update SOW documents, risk assessment information, testing documentation, governance records, and other related forms.
- Ensure timely escalation of risks, issues, delays, dependencies, and compliance concerns.
- Support continuous improvement of penetration testing coordination processes, documentation quality, reporting standards, and governance controls.
- Perform other responsibilities assigned under Client, country, business, or functional policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 7+ years of overall professional experience in technology, cybersecurity, IT governance, project management, technology risk, or related areas.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in cybersecurity coordination, penetration testing coordination, technology risk, IT project governance, or security testing-related functions.
- Prior experience in a managerial, lead, senior coordination, or governance-focused role is required.
- Strong experience in coordinating with stakeholders across technology, business, risk, governance, compliance, and vendor teams.
- Experience in coordinating third-party security testing, vulnerability assessments, penetration testing schedules, remediation tracking, and risk documentation.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or regulated environments will be an added advantage.
