APM Plastics Hiring! Full Time Senior Executive, Plant Engineering in Selangor, Earn up to MYR 4,500 - Ricebowl

What you'll be doing:

• Objective: Management of the Maintenance department to ensure the multifaceted role that involves overseeing the maintenance and engineering aspects of the plant to ensure business continuity and ensure the facilities in compliance to regulation.
• Key Accountabilities:

1. Preventive Maintenance (PM)

• Assist maintenance technicians in carrying out scheduled preventive maintenance activities.
• Learn and follow maintenance checklists for machines and equipment.
• Assist in lubrication, cleaning, inspection, and adjustment of machinery.
• Record PM activities and update maintenance records.

2. Breakdown Maintenance

• Assist in troubleshooting machine breakdowns under supervision.
• Support maintenance personnel during repair and replacement of faulty components.
• Observe root cause analysis (RCA) activities and corrective actions.

3. Equipment Inspection

• Conduct routine visual inspections of production machines and utilities.
• Report abnormal machine conditions, leaks, unusual noise, vibration, or overheating.
• Assist in monitoring machine performance and equipment reliability.

4. Spare Parts Management

• Assist in inventory checking and stock control of maintenance spare parts.
• Support spare parts identification, labeling, and storage activities.
• Update spare parts records and documentation.

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain maintenance records, service reports, and machine history files.
• Assist in preparing maintenance reports and equipment downtime records.
• Support data collection for maintenance KPI monitoring.

6. Continuous Improvement

• Participate in machine improvement and cost-saving projects.
• Support 5S, TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and Kaizen activities.
• Assist in analyzing downtime trends and proposing improvement ideas.
• Learn and follow maintenance checklists for machines and equipment.
• Assist in lubrication, cleaning, inspection, and adjustment of machinery.
• Record PM activities and update maintenance records.

What we're looking for:

• Education: Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing / Automotive Management
• Professional Experience: Preferable with Automotive Manufacturing working experience
