The Manager, Leisure is responsible for leading the commercial performance of the OTA, Leisure, and Partnership & Tourism portfolio, driving revenue growth, market share expansion, and long-term profitability across assigned market segments. This role requires a commercially driven leader with strong strategic sales and marketing capabilities within the airline or travel industry, responsible for shaping and executing integrated growth strategies across key distribution and partnership channels while strengthening the company’s presence in leisure and tourism markets.
Key Accountability
Lead the commercial performance of the OTA, Leisure, and Partnership & Tourism portfolio to achieve revenue, yield, and market share targets.
Develop and execute integrated sales and distribution strategies to drive sustainable growth across all assigned segments.
Translate market intelligence, industry trends, and competitive dynamics into actionable commercial strategies and growth opportunities.
Build, manage, and strengthen strategic relationships with OTAs, travel agencies, tour operators, tourism authorities, convention bureaus, and key industry partners.
Drive expansion and optimization of distribution channels to maximize commercial performance and market reach.
Lead, develop, and inspire a high-performing sales team, ensuring strong execution discipline, accountability, and continuous capability development.
Ensure strong cross-functional collaboration with internal departments to deliver a seamless customer and partner experience from acquisition to post-sales support.
Drive structured performance management, including target setting, forecasting, pipeline management, and regular business reviews.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align commercial priorities and ensure effective delivery of business objectives.
Deliver timely and insightful sales performance analysis, reporting, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making and business planning.
Qualifications & Working Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in sales, commercial, or distribution roles within the airline, travel, or hospitality industry.
Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and achieving commercial targets in competitive markets.
Experience managing multi-segment portfolios and complex partner ecosystems.
Strong understanding of airline distribution channels, OTA ecosystems, leisure travel segments.
Demonstrated ability to design and execute commercial growth strategies in competitive, fast-moving markets.
Proven ability to lead, develop, and inspire high-performing sales teams.
Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities across internal and external partners.
