CONSTRUCTION SUPERVISOR

Job Summary

Supervise and coordinate daily construction activities to ensure projects meet approved drawings, safety standards, timelines, and budgets while maintaining quality and effective communication with all stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and site workers to align project goals
• Monitor work progress, manpower allocation, and productivity to optimize site operations
• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies on site
• Conduct site inspections to identify and resolve quality or safety issues promptly
• Prepare and maintain daily reports, work schedules, and site documentation for project tracking
• Manage project timelines and budgets to ensure on-time and cost-effective completion
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and authorities to facilitate project requirements and approvals
• Oversee materials delivery and maintain proper site housekeeping to support efficient workflows

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Construction, Civil Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 3 years of relevant construction site experience
• Good knowledge of Singapore construction practices and safety regulations

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills demonstrated through managing site teams and stakeholder coordination
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to prepare reports and documentation
• Possession of relevant safety certificates (advantageous but not mandatory)
