Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing standards and ensure quality and safe delivery of resident care in compliance with MOH and internal guidelines.
- Supervise assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care for residents.
- Review residents care plans and participate in case conferences and care audits.
- Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of clinical records.
- Lead and supervise a team of nurses, healthcare assistants, and support staff.
- Plan duty rosters and manage manpower to ensure adequate staffing.
- Provide guidance, training, and coaching to nursing staff to enhance clinical competencies.
- Conduct performance appraisals and facilitate continuous learning and development.
- Manage daily operations of the nursing home ward or unit.
- Ensure adherence to infection control, medication management, and safety standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
- Assist in the development and implementation of nursing policies and procedures.
- Monitor and manage supplies, equipment, and ward inventory.
- Assist in budgeting and resource planning.
