Job Description

Responsibilities

We are seeking a hands-on HR Manager to lead and manage the full spectrum of Human Resources functions. The role covers recruitment, payroll, employee relations, performance management, training & development, and compliance. The ideal candidate is practical, proactive, and able to work closely with all levels of employees in a manufacturing and engineering environment.

Job Responsibilities
Full Spectrum HR Management
  • Manage end-to-end HR operations including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, compensation & benefits, and offboarding

  • Ensure HR policies and procedures are effectively implemented and aligned with company requirements

  • Handle employee relations, disciplinary issues, and grievance management professionally

Recruitment & Manpower Planning
  • Oversee recruitment activities for factory, engineering, and office staff

  • Work closely with department heads to understand manpower needs and hiring plans

  • Ensure smooth onboarding and orientation process for new employees

Payroll & HR Administration
  • Oversee monthly payroll processing, statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB)

  • Maintain accurate HR records, attendance, leave management, and employee data

  • Ensure compliance with Malaysian labour laws and statutory requirements

Employee Engagement & Performance
  • Support performance appraisal system and employee performance review process

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and improve workplace culture

  • Handle training coordination and employee development programs

HR Strategy & Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with Employment Act and relevant HR regulations

  • Support management in HR planning, policy development, and organizational improvements

  • Provide HR reports and analytics to management for decision-making

Job Requirements
  • Diploma / Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field

  • Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in managerial/supervisory role

  • Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws and HR practices

  • Experience in manufacturing or engineering industry is an added advantage

  • Hands-on experience in payroll, recruitment, and employee relations

  • Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills

  • Able to work independently and manage full HR function

  • Willing to work in Muar, Johor
