Role Description The Funds Event Crew role is a full-time, on-site position based in WP, Kuala Lumpur. The Funds Event Crew member will support the planning, setup, and execution of fundraising and promotional events, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for attendees. Daily responsibilities include assisting with event logistics, coordinating booth or venue setup, managing registration or crowd flow, and interacting with prospective donors or customers. The role involves providing friendly, professional customer service, communicating key messages about campaigns, and collecting feedback or basic data from participants. The Funds Event Crew member will also collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to support on-ground event promotions, help meet fundraising or sales targets, and participate in post-event debriefs to improve future events.
Qualifications

  • Strong Customer Service and Communication skills to engage confidently with diverse audiences and handle inquiries professionally.
  • Sales skills or interest in sales to help drive participation, donations, or sign-ups during events.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, on-site event environment, including standing for extended periods and handling basic physical tasks related to setup.
  • Proactive attitude, reliability, and willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or public holidays when events are scheduled.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively and follow event guidelines and instructions.
  • Prior event, fundraising is an advantage but not mandatory; training will be provided.
