Responsible for sourcing, purchasing and managing supplier relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services while maintaining quality standards and supporting operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate suppliers, vendors and service providers.
• Obtain quotations and negotiate pricing, terms and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company procedures.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing activities to avoid stock shortages.
• Follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
• Compare and analyze costs to achieve cost savings and procurement efficiency.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts and supplier databases.
• Resolve issues related to delivery delays, quality concerns and supplier performance.
• Coordinate with internal departments to understand purchasing requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, procurement procedures and relevant regulations.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers and sourcing opportunities.
• Prepare procurement reports and assist in budget planning.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 1–3 years of procurement or purchasing experience.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of procurement processes and inventory management.
• Proficiency in English and Mandarin.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
