(Senior) IT Infrastructure Engineer (Linux, $40-60K)

• Provide comprehensive system and database support for production systems, including handling hotline inquiries, diagnosing root causes, and managing system recovery during incidents

• Ensure all incidents, technical problems, and resolutions are meticulously logged and tracked within the IT ticketing system.

• Maintain, configure, and upgrade hardware and software assets, ensuring high availability of Apache Web Servers, Oracle/RedHat Linux, RedHat JBoss, Oracle Databases, and VMware ESXi environments.

• Conduct systems analysis, design, and feasibility/technical studies to optimize existing infrastructure.

• Deploy to remote departmental offices (including border control points) for on-site technical support and system maintenance when necessary.

• Manage IT asset procurement, equipment service contracts, and inventory control.

• Higher Diploma / Degree in Computer Science or related subjects

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in supporting Apache Web Server, Oracle/RedHat Linux, RedHat JBoss, Oracle Database, and VMware ESXi.

• Proven experience in networking and SAN

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and independent working skills in fast-paced environments.

• Willingness to work outside normal office hours and provide 7X24 on-call support.

• Mobility to travel to various remote locations/territory control points.

• Good communication skills

• More experience will be considered as Senior level
