Job Description

Responsibilities

1. Carry out Quantity Take off for the project which includes sourcing for suppliers and sub-contractors, collating price comparison and costing summary.

2. Study and identify discrepancies in tender/contract documents.

3. Produce quantity measurement within the targeted timeline.

4. Prepare and call quotations including analyzing and evaluating for costing of tender; or negotiate and award of subcontracts for projects.

5. To ensure completeness and timely submission of tender bids.

6. Prepare cost budget, track changes in design/construction work and adjust budget projects accordingly.

7. Review and prepare agreements for award to subcontractors and suppliers.

8. Certify and evaluate progress work done, including contract administration for variations for both subcontract and main contract works.

9. Assess and submit monthly progress claims, and recommend the subcontractor's monthly progress payment.

10. Finalise subcontract and main contract's final account.

11. Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying/ Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.

• Min. 1-2years of similar capacity experience in the Sanitary & Plumbing Industry or M&E Industry would be an added advantage.

• Proficient in AutoCAD, BIM, Photoshop and MS Office Applications.

• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
