Job Descriptions
- Design & Planning
- Prepare electrical drawings, layouts, and specifications
- Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and system design
- Ensure designs comply with project and regulatory requirements
- Project Implementation
- Supervise installation, testing, and commissioning activities
- Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site
- Quality & Safety Assurance
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards
- Conduct inspections and testing
- Implement corrective actions for non-conformance
- Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain updated drawings, specifications, and reports
- Submit progress reports to management
- Support technical submissions and approvals
- Continuous Improvement
- Research new technologies and industry practices
- Recommend efficiency and cost-saving improvements
- Participate in training and professional development
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 3–5 years of electrical engineering experience, preferably in construction, manufacturing, or industrial projects
- Strong knowledge of:
- Electrical systems
- Electrical codes and safety standards
- Testing and commissioning practices
- Proficiency in:
- AutoCAD
- Revit
- Other electrical design software
- Strong problem-solving ability
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders
- Professional Engineering (PE) license is an advantage
- Proficiency in Mandarin for ease of communication with China stakeholders
Location: Senai, Johor
Working Hours: Mon - Fri (9:00AM - 6:00PM)
Salary Range: RM5,000 - 8,000
