About the Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Field Engineer to support system monitoring, operational performance, and customer support activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal system performance, investigating abnormalities, coordinating with support teams, and maintaining accurate operational records.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage systems to ensure all operational parameters remain within optimal levels.
- Identify, investigate, and escalate system abnormalities or performance degradation to the appropriate support teams.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls professionally and within established service levels.
- Follow communication procedures and support scripts when interacting with customers and stakeholders.
- Understand customer requirements, investigate issues, and provide appropriate solutions or alternatives.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through effective communication and support.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and operational activities in the system database.
- Collect, analyze, and report operational support KPIs.
- Review system and application logs to calculate and report system performance metrics.
- Prepare documentation, reports, and administrative records as required.
- Conduct investigations and troubleshooting activities when assigned.
- Support continuous operational improvements and service excellence initiatives.
Requirements
- Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
- 1–2 years of relevant experience in system monitoring, technical support, or field engineering environments.
- Experience as a Monitoring Centre Engineer or similar operational support role is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of networking concepts and database management is an advantage.
- Familiarity with electrical/mechanical drawings, service manuals, and technical diagrams is an added advantage.
- Prior experience in airport operations or aviation-related environments will be beneficial.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Self-motivated, responsible, and capable of working independently as well as within a team.
- Comfortable working under pressure and interacting with stakeholders at all levels.
- Willingness to work 12-hour rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
- Training will be provided for suitable candidates.

- 4 consecutive working days followed by 3 days off
- 3 consecutive working days followed by 4 days off
