Responsibilities

Job Summary
To be responsible for the sportswear and accessories product development from product design to production of assigned brand(s) including fitting & sizing enhancement , merchandising, manufacturing coordination and quality control, and to ensure product development directions is in line with brand’s objectives and marketing strategies
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Be responsible for sample review including fit, measurement , grading, constructions & workmanship
Work on fitting & sizing enhancement project, review and fine tune product and size specification
Conduct garment fitting sessions . Identify fit issues, perform fit adjustments, pattern corrections and communicate changes to improve fit and function
Conduct market research and product comparison on competitors’ product design, fit and quality. Frequent market & factory visits to understand market needs, trends as well as the latest technology development on fabric to improve product competitiveness and range relevancy
Explore opportunities for new product categories and range. Source fabric, garment trims and accessories
Work with product and design team on product range development, target factory price and delivery timeline
Monitor vendors and factories on all aspects of sample production, development process, production and shipment. Negotiate the costing, sampling and production lead time
Follow up lab test reports with vendors, factories and QA department for product compliance
Requirements
Diploma or above, preferred in textile/ garment and related fields
Minimum 3 years or above relevant experience in apparel, activewear or swimwear
Strong knowledge of fitting, technical construction, sourcing, and sourcing raw materials
Self-motivated and can work under pressure
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Able to travel to Mainland to work with vendors and factories occasionally
