Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and monitor all Mechanical and Electrical installation works on-site.
• Ensure M&E works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and contract requirements.
• Witness testing and commissioning activities for M&E systems.
• Conduct regular site inspections and identify defects, non-conformities, and quality issues.
• Verify materials and equipment delivered to site meet approved specifications.
• Monitor contractor workmanship and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Maintain site inspection records, reports, and photographic documentation.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders on technical and quality matters.
• Review shop drawings, material submissions, and as-built documentation where required.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on M&E work progress and quality issues.
• Ensure corrective actions are implemented for identified defects or non-compliance.
• Monitor compliance with relevant local authority requirements, codes, and regulations.
• Assist in the preparation of snagging lists and verify rectification works prior to project handover.

• Water Supply and Pump Systems
• Mechanical Ventilation Systems
• LPG/Gas Systems (where applicable)

Electrical Systems

• Power Distribution Systems
• Lighting Systems
• Earthing and Lightning Protection Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• ELV (Extra Low Voltage) Systems
• CCTV, Access Control, and Security Systems
• Data and Communication Systems

Required Qualifications

• Diploma or Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or a related field.
• Registered Inspector of Works certification (where required by local regulations).
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in M&E construction supervision, inspection, or site monitoring.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documents.
• Knowledge of relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
