Shadow Teachers/ Teaching Assistants- Full time (school hours)
Positions in an international school, August 2026- June 2027

The role of a shadow teacher is to provide additional support (academic, social and/or emotional), throughout the school day. The shadow teacher supports the student in many ways, including filling in the gaps in the learning process, helping the student build self-confidence, promoting interaction in the classroom, and ensuring the student stays focused.

The Shadow posts will be required to work during school hours and during the school term, one-to-one with the child in the classroom. All shadow teachers are supervised by a specialist teacher at SPOT Children's Therapy Centre and provided with appropriate training.

Must:
Be fluent in English and Mandarin (not essential)
Be reliable and on time
Be able to work within a team
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Experience working with children
Teaching experience with neurodivergent children (beneficial)

Commitment required August 2026-June 2027 minimum
