Oversee nursing standards to ensure safe and quality resident care in line with guidelines.
Supervise the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care.
Participate in case conferences and care audits.
Review and maintain proper documentation of clinical records.
Lead and manage a team of nurses and support staff.
Plan and manage duty rosters to ensure sufficient staffing levels.
Provide guidance, training, and coaching to enhance the skills of nursing staff.
Conduct performance appraisals and promote ongoing learning and development.
Manage daily operations of the nursing unit, ensuring adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and audits.
Assist in developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures.
Monitor and manage supplies, equipment, and inventory within the ward.
Contribute to budgeting and resource planning efforts.
Degree or Advanced Diploma in Nursing with registration from the relevant authority.
Additional certifications in gerontology, palliative care, or leadership training are a plus.
Minimum of 5 years of clinical nursing experience, including a managerial role.
Prior experience in community care is an advantage.
Strong leadership and people management abilities.
