SharkNinja APAC Hiring! Full Time Product Development Intern in - Ricebowl

Our two brands, Shark, and Ninja, have enjoyed unprecedented growth in the past 5 years, driven mainly by the very strong innovation pipeline on both brands. Given this success in our existing markets, SharkNinja has embarked on a bold plan for growing APAC business, in which Singapore plays a critical role.

We are looking for a curious and hands-on Product Development (R&D) Intern to support our product team across multiple categories. This internship offers end‑to‑end exposure to the product development lifecycle, from early concepts and design validation to testing, experimentation, and post‑launch feedback. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams including Product Development, Compliance, and Commercial stakeholders. This role will be based in Singapore.

Here are some exciting things you will get to do:

• Review and provide feedback on physical prototypes, app mock‑ups, and prototypes, with a focus on usability and user experience
• Support product testing, design validation, documenting outcomes and insights
• Work hands‑on across multiple stages of the product development lifecycle, from concept and prototyping to refinement
• Design, execute, and analyse product experiments, translating results into clear learnings
• Gather and synthesise user feedback, testing results, and competitive benchmarking to inform feature improvements
• Assist in shaping and refining product features and requirements in collaboration with cross‑functional teams
• Prepare product-related materials and collateral such as summaries, test reports, and internal documentation

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Product/Industrial Design, Engineering, Computer Science, Psychology, or a related field
• Strong interest in physical & digital product development, UX, experimentation, and user‑centric design
• Comfortable reviewing visual materials such as wireframes, mock‑ups, and being hands-on with physical prototypes
• Analytical mindset with the ability to make sense of testing results and user data
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn through hands‑on experimentation
• Good communication skills, with the ability to articulate observations and ideas clearly
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design or prototyping tools (e.g. Figma, ProtoPie, Adobe Suite) is a plus
