Responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, handling daily accounting activities and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and General Ledger (GL).
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and ensure timely data entry.
- Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
- Process invoices, payments and expense claims.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis.
- Prepare tax schedules and support statutory compliance requirements.
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers and government authorities.
- Monitor outstanding receivables and follow up on collections.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Support management with financial information and ad-hoc reporting.
- Assist in improving accounting procedures and internal controls.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
- Minimum 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (fresh graduates may be considered for junior positions).
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
