We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Murex MxML Developer with strong expertise in MxML Exchange, workflow orchestration, and system integration. The role involves designing, developing, and supporting robust interface solutions within the Murex platform, ensuring seamless integration across Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office, and external systems.
Responsibilities
• Review all existing active MT templates and provide suggestions to consolidate the MT messages into MX format for all products and entities.
• Perform a gap analysis to understand the current MT mappings or format to specific products or entities, and to be adapted into MX format.
• Enhance the underlying Murex MX package with specific requirements or mappings for each of the templates.
• Develop a new MX template for those message types that are not covered by Murex MX package.
• Develop new ACK/NACK mappings to change the status of the payment flows.
• Develop new automation of MxML or Unix shell script for a real-time interface.
• Simplify the interface's current workflow to generate the MX messages and workflow for ACK/NACK.
• Clean up redundant workflow which are not used by the system.
• Knowledge transfer to existing EAD developers for future enhancements or developments.
• Prepare write-ups and regularly train Support team on common issues observed and how to manage them with new MX messages.
• Provide post-live support and any enhancements or new developments required by users.
Requirements
• 6+ years of work experience in application development, preferably in the banking/treasury industry
• Experience in MX2.11 and MX3.1
Front Office: FXMM, Fixed Income, Equities Product Knowledge,
Middle Office Risk: MLC, VaR & Market Data,
Back Office: MXML (Workflow, Interfaces & Templates) and Datamart Configuration & Development
• Experience in Error handling
• Experienced and knowledgeable in Treasury products
• Experienced in coding and programming
