Job Description

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

  • Proactively engage stakeholders to define medium to long term forecasts of procurement requirements and timelines, and todevelop a procurement plan for execution
  • Execute the End-to-End Tender Process for Facilitiesmanagement related requirement and any other assigned category for both projects and operations
  • Build and Maintain Strong Relationships with Key Stakeholders, having regular reviews of overall project progress,early and timely procurement engagement and proactiveidentification and resolution of supplier performance issues or contractual concerns in a proactive manner
  • Monitor the Validity and Timely Renewal of Ongoing Contracts to ensure uninterrupted service delivery and compliance with contractual obligations
  • Maintain Strategic Supplier Relationships to ensure consistent supplier performance. Identifying opportunities for collaboration and improvement, as well as proactively resolving any issues that may arise to support uninterrupted operations
  • Develop In-Depth Category, Product, and Supplier Knowledge to drive continuous improvement within the managed sub-categories. Understanding of market trends, supplier capabilities, and product innovations, etc
  • Ensure Timely and Accurate Administration of day-to-day contract management
  • Establish and Maintain Contingency Plans for all key suppliers and critical services within the categories managed


What You’ll Need:

  • Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or equivalent
  • Minimum 8 years’ in procurement or equivalent experience within a utilities company, government or multinational corporation (MNC), preferably in Facilities management or Civil engineering
  • Demonstrated understanding of procurement processes and principles, with demonstrated experience in sourcing, tendering and contract management
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholders, collaborate effectively, influence outcomes, balance multiple priorities and resolve problems
  • Passionate working with people, self-driven, positive and enthusiastic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation, leadership, and communication skills
  • Experience in SAP and/or other procurement systems is advantageous
