Job Summary:
Responsible for supervising daily workshop operations, ensuring all repair and maintenance work is carried out efficiently, safely, and according to Proton standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead technicians in performing vehicle repair, servicing, and maintenance
- Ensure all jobs are completed within the given timeline and meet quality standards
- Diagnose complex technical issues and provide solutions to technicians
- Monitor job progress and update Service Advisor on repair status
- Ensure proper use of tools, equipment, and workshop facilities
- Maintain cleanliness and safety in the workshop at all times
- Conduct final inspection before vehicle delivery to customers
- Assist in technical training and guidance for junior technicians
- Ensure compliance with company SOP and Proton service guidelines
Requirements:
- Minimum Diploma / Certificate in Automotive Engineering or related field
- At least 3–5 years experience in automotive workshop (preferably Proton)
- Strong technical and diagnostic skills
- Leadership and team management ability
- Good communication skills
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Possess valid driving license (Class D)
