Job Summary:
As a Engineer, Quality, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of the components and products in accordance with established standards and specifications. This role involves conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating closely with production teams to identify and address any issues that may arise during the process. The Engineer, Quality will play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and reliability in the products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive inspections of the components and products to verify conformity with specifications and quality standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols specific to the process, ensuring adherence to industry best practices.
- Monitor and analyze the processes to identify areas for improvement and optimize product quality and efficiency.
- Collaborate with production teams to address any quality-related issues or concerns, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions to resolve quality deviations or non-conformities in the process.
- Maintain accurate records of quality inspections, test results, and corrective actions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Provide training and support to production personnel on quality control procedures, techniques, and standards related to the operations.
- Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to facilitate continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives.
- To act and behave with the correct manner in representing The Company in dealing with suppliers and/or customers; with the right information and/or data
Qualifications:
- Must possess at least a Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline or minimum 3 years working experience in related field.
- Previous experience in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment with a focus on the processes.
- Proficiency in quality control methods and tools, such as statistical process control (SPC), root cause analysis, and failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
- Experience in Clean Room is advantages
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve quality issues effectively.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different departments and levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and quality standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14000, ISO 13485, or IATF 16949, is desirable.
- Familiarity with computer-aided design (CAD) software and quality management systems (QMS) is advantageous.
