Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Intern Design Engineer will support the engineering team in designing and planning solar photovoltaic (PV) systems. This role provides hands-on experience in solar system design, technical analysis, and project documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in designing solar PV systems (rooftop or ground-mounted)
- Prepare layout drawings using software such as AutoCAD or similar tools
- Support in system sizing calculations (inverter, panels, cables, etc.)
- Conduct site data analysis (roof size, shading, orientation)
- Help prepare technical proposals and documentation for clients
- Assist in preparing Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
- Perform basic energy yield estimation using tools like PVsyst (if applicable)
- Support project team in compliance with local regulations and standards
- Collaborate with project, procurement, and installation teams
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 4 months
Pay: RM600.00 per month
