About the Role
As the Business Development & Operations Executive, you will play a crucial role in the firm’s growth strategy by executing comprehensive business development and marketing initiatives. You will work closely with the Business Development Team to drive client acquisition and nurture existing relationships. Additionally, you will provide essential support to the Operations Team, contributing to efficient office and practice management.
Key Accountabilities
The role is broadly accountable for:
- Client Growth: Finding and retaining clients, and deepening client relationships.
- Market Presence: Enhancing the firm's visibility and reputation through marketing and PR.
- Operational Efficiency: Assisting with core office and practice management tasks.
Core Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Client Acquisition
- Client Sourcing : Proactively identify and research potential high-value clients and market opportunities.
- Pitch Preparation : Organise client meetings, and prepare persuasive profiles, proposals, and presentations.
- Networking : Represent the firm at industry events and professional networking functions.
- Inquiry Management : Serve as the first point of contact for new client inquiries, connecting them efficiently with the appropriate internal team or department.
- Client Feedback : Respond to initial client inquiries and manage processes to collect, analyse, and improve client feedback and satisfaction.
2. Marketing & Communications
- Content Management : Propose, procure, and manage marketing content across the website, social media channels, and internal newsletters.
- Digital Execution: Implement Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) tactics and manage graphics and video editing to support digital campaigns.
- Public Relations : Coordinate firm publications, manage listings on professional directories, and prepare submissions for law firm and performance rankings.
3. Events & Professional Development
- Event Planning : Organise and market all online and in-person events, including internal meetings, webinars, training sessions, team building, conferences, and career fairs.
- Material Coordination : Manage the procurement and distribution of corporate gifts and essential Business Development materials.
- Training & Technology : Keep abreast of the latest technologies, and develop and provide training to internal staff on best practices within the field.
4. Strategy & Process Improvement
- Market Monitoring : Monitor and evaluate industry and client trends to inform strategic direction.
- Strategy Implementation : Assist in the development and implementation of firm-wide Business Development strategies, and continuously improve existing marketing practices.
5. Operations Support
- Office Assistance : Provide flexible administrative and logistical assistance to the Operations Team, handling ad hoc office management and practice management tasks as required.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
