Responsibilities
Job Summary
The Production Leader / Operator is responsible for operating machines, monitoring production processes, and supporting daily production activities while leading a small team to achieve production targets, quality standards, and workplace safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate production machines and equipment according to work instructions.
- Monitor daily production output and ensure targets are achieved.
- Lead and guide production operators on daily tasks and job assignments.
- Ensure product quality meets company standards and customer requirements.
- Perform basic machine troubleshooting and report technical issues.
- Ensure production area cleanliness and compliance with 5S practices.
- Monitor raw material usage and minimize production waste.
- Prepare daily production reports and update production records.
- Ensure team compliance with safety rules, SOP, and company policies.
- Assist in training new operators and monitoring team discipline and attendance.
Job Requirements
- Minimum SPM / Diploma or equivalent qualification.
- Working experience in manufacturing or production environment is an added advantage..
- Basic leadership and team management skills.
- Able to operate machines and perform manual production tasks.
- Good discipline, attendance, and responsibility.
- Able to work shifts, overtime, and under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Basic machine troubleshooting knowledge.
- Familiar with production SOP, safety procedures, and quality control.
- Basic computer knowledge for reporting.
