Job Description

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

1.Customer Communication & Support

  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer enquiries via:

-⁠Social media comments & DMs

- ⁠WhatsApp

-Email

-Website contact forms

-Phone calls

  • Provide accurate information on:

- Products and pricing

- Promotions and campaigns

- Store locations, operating hours, and availability

- Handle basic complaints or concerns with empathy and escalate complex issues when needed

2.Social Media Engagement

  • Monitor and reply to comments on social media platforms in a brand-appropriate tone
  • Flag sensitive, negative, or unusual comments to the supervisor
  • Identify common questions and feedback trends from customers

3.Coordination & Follow-Up

  • Record enquiries and customer details accurately
  • Follow up on pending enquiries to ensure timely resolution
  • Coordinate with:

- Retail outlets

- Marketing team

- E-commerce or operations team to obtain correct information when required

4.Call Handling (Basic Level)

  • Answer incoming calls politely and confidently
  • Route calls or messages to the appropriate department when necessary

5.Traits & Personal Attributes (Very Important)

  • Polite, patient, and friendly* in all forms of communication
  • Good written and verbal communication skills*
  • Calm under pressure*, especially when handling multiple enquiries at once
  • Detail-oriented* – able to give accurate information and avoid mistakes
  • Responsible and reliable* with good follow-through
  • Customer-first mindset* – genuinely wants to help
  • Professional online etiquette*, especially when replying publicly on social media

Skills & Requirements:

  • Must-Have: Minimum *SPM / Diploma*
  • Comfortable communicating via: WhatsApp, Email, Social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok is a plus)
  • Basic computer skills (typing, Google Docs, email systems)
  • Able to work *weekdays and weekends on a roster basis* (if applicable)
  • Fluent in in English, Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin
  • Prior experience in: Customer service, Retail, Social media admin
  • Familiarity with CRM systems or WhatsApp Business
  • Interest in retail, jewelry, or lifestyle brands

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
