Freshtel Internet Sdn Bhd is a fast-growing Internet Service Provider (ISP) in Malaysia, delivering high-speed broadband solutions to residential and commercial customers. Since our establishment, we have expanded across Klang Valley and beyond, focusing on reliable connectivity, strong customer experience, and continuous network innovation.

Job Responsibility:

a) Monitoring overall network performance, especially bandwidth utilization and power stability.

b) Managing and maximizing performance by troubleshooting network problems and outages and scheduling upgrades.

c) Leading, mentoring, and managing senior and junior engineers while ensuring team objectives align with company goals and operational targets.

d) Acting proactively and responsibly in reporting and escalating network performance issues to management in a timely manner, while ensuring proper follow-up by the team.

e) Serving as the main point of contact for escalated issues and coordinating team efforts for any large-scale projects.

f) Managing the installation, maintenance, and support of network elements, including wired and wireless network components.

g) Supervise on site preparation work including civil mechanical electrical works.

h) Managing escalated customer complaints responsively and thoroughly until issues are properly addressed and resolved.

i) Ensuring timely updates on resolution progress and issue details are communicated to the customer support team to provide accurate information to reported subscribers.

j) Ensuring unsatisfied subscribers are handled professionally and respectfully during onsite support activities conducted by the team.

k) Providing the suggestion in policies and procedures of the department, especially related to the efficient end-to-end support flow.

l) Handling the off-office-hour support calls and following up the complaints until the issue is resolved.

m) Preparing and presenting network performance, incident, and operational reports to management when needed.

n) Managing team scheduling, task allocation, performance monitoring, and resource planning to ensure smooth daily operations and service delivery.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in IT, Telecommunications, Networking, or related field
  • Minimum 8 - 11 years of experience in network or telco infrastructure engineering (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of network performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization
  • Experience in wired/wireless network infrastructure and field deployment support
  • Strong understanding of network stability, bandwidth management, and outage handling
  • Experience in handling escalations and supporting critical network incidents
  • Ability to lead or mentor senior and junior engineers
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams and management
  • Willingness to provide after-hours/on-call support when required

Pay: Up to RM8,000.00 per month
