Job Description

• Industry/ Organization Type: Manufacturer – Dairy Products
• Position Title: QC Technician
• Working Location: Tuas
• Working Hours: 5 days (Mon to Fri: 8:00am – 8.00pm)
• Salary Package: Basic + OT + Performance Bonus, (Gross $3000 - $3500)
• Duration: Permanent

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct sensory checks on raw materials and finished goods, including flavour, odour, and colour.
• Perform solubility testing for applicable products.
• Ensure all LOT testing is completed before product release or lab submission.
• Record test results accurately and report any quality issues promptly.
• Ensure QC/QA approval is completed for all test results.
• Support the preparation and implementation of lab SOPs.
• Prepare, submit, and track samples sent to external labs, including Setsco.
• Review, verify, and file external lab test results.
• Assist with trial samples, customer samples, reference samples, and retention samples.
• Ensure proper sample labelling, traceability, and storage.
• Conduct start-up, changeover, and routine production quality checks.
• Perform hygiene, GMP, environmental, and hand swab checks.
• Handle product changeover, first-off checks, rejection procedures, and related records.
• Review production records, work orders, and data logger results.
• Maintain accurate lab testing, billing, and traceability records.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, HACCP, food safety standards, and internal SOPs.
• Maintain lab cleanliness, equipment, and consumables stock.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the QA Manager or Management.

• 3 to 5 years of QC or laboratory experience in food manufacturing is preferred.
• Experience in sensory evaluation and laboratory testing will be an advantage.
• Good knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and food safety systems.
• ISO 22000 and Food Safety Level 1 & 3 certification will be an advantage.
• Able to work in production or warehouse environments and handle physical tasks.
• Able to work 12-hour rotating day and night shifts.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
