With our commitment to quality, operational excellence, and exceptional customer service, we are looking for a detail-oriented and driven Human Resource Executive with experience in the Marine Industry to join our dynamic team!

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Support the full spectrum of HR functions to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day HR operations.
  • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, interviewing, salary proposals, onboarding/orientation, and exit management.
  • Partner closely with internal departments on manpower planning, employee lifecycle matters (e.g., probation confirmation, resignations), and HR-related issues.
  • Oversee work pass administration, including applications, renewals, cancellations, and issuances, in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise with shipyards and relevant stakeholders on work permit renewals, particularly within the marine sector.
  • Coordinate logistics for foreign employees, including travel arrangements, onboarding/offboarding, and accommodation/dormitory assignments.
  • Provide administrative and operational support, including office supplies management and vendor coordination.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring proper documentation and confidentiality.
  • Prepare and generate weekly and monthly HR reports in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Process payroll, including overtime calculations, statutory contributions (e.g., CPF), and ensure compliance with local labour regulations.
  • Respond to employee queries regarding HR policies, procedures, and employment matters.
  • Assist in performance management processes, including appraisals and review cycles.
  • Participate in and support ad-hoc HR projects as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in an HR Generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of local labour laws, including the Employment Act and Ministry of Manpower (MOM) procedures and systems.
  • Ability to work independently with a high level of initiative and accountability.
  • Resourceful, proactive, and detail-oriented with a positive work attitude.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

Working hours:

  • Mon-Fri 8am to 5:45pm
