As an Executive in Inventory Flow (Planning & Control), you will be the engine behind our data-driven inventory decisions. This role focuses on the technical execution of data retrieval and analysis to optimize stock levels and supply chain efficiency in our fast-paced grocery retail environment. You will leverage Big Query (BQ) and internal retail systems to transform raw data into actionable reports that help minimize waste and ensure our shelves are always stocked for our customers.

Data Analysis & Reporting:
o Report Architecture: Create, generate, and maintain actionable reports and automated dashboards that translate raw data into clear insights for stakeholders.
o Systems Deep-Dive: Use SQL to pull and analyse inventory data from internal systems (ERP, POS, and Warehouse Management) to pinpoint trends, identify operational bottlenecks, and surface optimization opportunities.
o Data Integrity: Ensure the consistency and accuracy of all supply chain datasets used for executive decision-making.
o Forecasting Support: Build and refine data-driven inventory insights and basic forecasting models to help the team optimize stock levels, specifically aiming to eliminate overstock and prevent stockouts.
o Tactical Recommendations: Translate data findings into practical strategies to improve inventory efficiency, such as adjusting reorder points or identifying slow-moving SKUs.
o Trend Synthesis: Incorporate micro-level supplier behaviour and consumer patterns into stock analysis to ensure product availability aligns with actual demand.
- Process Improvement & KPI Tracking:
o Efficiency Scoping: Proactively identify inefficiencies in the current supply chain workflow and propose data-backed solutions to streamline operations.
o KPI Ownership: Rigorously monitor and report on key performance indicators, including stock turnover, fill rates, and shrinkage.
Impact Assessment: Track the measurable impact of implemented strategies and propose iterative improvements based on performance data.
