Role Description

This is an on-site contract role for a Software Tester (ETL) located in WP. Kuala Lumpur. The Software Tester will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications through meticulous test execution, creation of comprehensive test cases, and collaboration with the development team. Other duties include identifying and reporting issues, verifying bug fixes, conducting quality assurance activities, and working with data-intensive systems to ensure accurate ETL processes. The candidate will contribute to a team-driven environment to ensure quality deliverables.

Review Data Models, Data Mappings, Architectural Documentation to create/execute effective SIT Test Plans and SIT test case

Validates data by running queries in the database and verify the results match the expectations

Analyzes and troubleshoots erroneous results, determines the root causes, logs the defects in HP Quality Center/ALM and enables defect management, including working with the development team on the resolution of Software related defects.
