Job Title

Business Operations Executive

Job Scope & Responsibilities

1. Business Operations & Regional Coordination

  • Coordinate daily business operations between the Singapore office, China office, suppliers, customers, and regional partners.
  • Support operational planning and execution for IoT and smart metering projects across Southeast Asia.

  • Liaise with overseas suppliers and factories regarding production schedules, shipment status, delivery timelines, and project coordination.

  • Coordinate communication between internal engineering, sales, and operations teams to ensure smooth project execution.

  • Monitor project progress and prepare operational updates and reports for management review.

  • Support customer enquiries, project follow-ups, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and system integrators.

2. Supply Chain, Logistics & Procurement Support

  • Coordinate shipment arrangements, delivery schedules, and logistics activities with suppliers and freight forwarders.

  • Track inventory movement, stock allocation, and incoming/outgoing shipments.

  • Assist in procurement coordination and supplier follow-up for electronic components and IoT devices.

  • Support buffer stock planning and supply coordination to ensure continuity of production and project deployment.

3. Project & Technical Operations Support

  • Support deployment coordination for smart metering and LoRaWAN IoT projects.

  • Coordinate technical documentation, testing arrangements, and product preparation with engineering teams.

  • Assist in monitoring project implementation schedules and operational timelines.

  • Coordinate warranty support, replacement arrangements, and service follow-up activities with customers and partners.

  • Support operational troubleshooting coordination between customers, engineers, and suppliers.

4. Customer & Partner Coordination

  • Maintain communication with regional customers, distributors, and technology partners regarding project updates and operational matters.

  • Coordinate meetings, presentations, exhibitions, and business events with external stakeholders.

  • Assist in preparing operational reports, presentation materials, and business documentation.

  • Support customer account follow-up, service coordination, and project administration.

5. Administrative & Reporting Support

  • Prepare internal operational reports, tracking records, and project status summaries.

  • Maintain proper documentation and filing for operational and project-related activities.

  • Support management in business coordination, scheduling, and operational planning activities.

  • Perform other operational and coordination duties assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Strong coordination and communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with China suppliers and regional partners.

  • Experience in operations coordination, supply chain, logistics, or project support is preferred.

  • Familiarity with IoT, smart metering, or technology-related industries will be an advantage.

  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
