Responsibilities

Reporting Officer: Warehouse & Logistics Manager

Role Summary

The Driver is responsible for the safe and timely transportation of goods using company vehicles. The role also supports warehouse operations, including loading and unloading goods, ensuring accurate deliveries, and maintaining vehicle safety. The Driver must follow delivery schedules, comply with traffic regulations, and maintain professionalism when interacting with customers.

Key Responsibilities

Driving & Delivery

  • Safely operate company vehicles to transport goods to customers and designated locations.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while complying with all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Load and unload goods using appropriate equipment such as pallet jacks and trolleys.
  • Ensure goods are properly secured during transport to prevent damage.
  • Handle payments when required, collect delivery documents, and respond to customer queries professionally.

Warehouse, Logistics & Inventory Support

  • Assist with general warehouse activities such as sealing, shrink-wrapping, and packing of goods.
  • Perform quantity and quality checks on outgoing goods before delivery.
  • Support basic inventory handling and ensure accurate order preparation.

Vehicle Maintenance & Safety

  • Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after deliveries to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and work areas to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Proactively identify and report vehicle issues or safety hazards.

Requirements

  • Valid driving licence with a clean driving record.
  • Possess at least GCE ‘N’ Level qualification.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in driving and/or warehouse operations.
  • Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy items (more than 10KG).
  • Familiarity with safe loading practices and vehicle weight restrictions.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety practices and operational procedures.
  • Organised and possess strong interpersonal skills.
