We are currently seeking a passionate and driven individual to join our team as an HR and Immigration Consultant.

Our client is a leading enterprise committed to digital excellence and robust data protection. They are currently seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Engineer to join their technical team. In this role, you will be the primary line of defense, responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a resilient security posture across global networks and cloud environments.

The Role

This is a hands-on position focused on protecting the organization’s digital assets from evolving threats. You will oversee the entire security lifecycle—from architecting defensive systems and proactive monitoring to leading incident response and remediation.

Key Responsibilities

Security Architecture: Design and manage a comprehensive suite of security technologies, including Firewalls, IDS/IPS, and next-gen Endpoint Protection.

Proactive Monitoring: Monitor complex networks and cloud environments (Azure, AWS, Office 365) using SIEM and EDR tools (e.g., Palo Alto Cortex XDR) to detect and neutralize anomalies.

Vulnerability Management: Conduct regular assessments and penetration testing using tools like Qualys to identify and patch weaknesses across servers and network devices.

Incident Response: Lead the investigation of security breaches, providing expert analysis, containment, and recovery strategies.

Governance & Compliance: Develop and enforce security policies (PAM, privileged access) and ensure the organization meets global regulatory standards.

Continuous Improvement: Stay at the forefront of the threat landscape, integrating security best practices into the entire technology lifecycle.

Selection Criteria

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Expertise: Proven experience in a dedicated Cybersecurity or Information Security role with a strong grasp of risk management and cryptography.

Technical Toolset: Hands-on proficiency with SIEM, IDS/IPS, Firewalls, and vulnerability scanners.

Cloud & Automation: Experience securing cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Intune) and utilizing scripting (Python/PowerShell) to automate security workflows.

Certification: Professional certifications such as CISSP, CEH, Security+, or CISM are highly desirable.

Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with frameworks such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.

Soft Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities and the communication skills required to bridge the gap between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
