Position : Technical Writer

Salary : RM 3,500 - RM 6,000

Location : Damansara Uptown

Working Days / Time : 8.30am – 5.30pm / Mon – Fri

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to create clear, structured, and user-friendly documentation that supports our software products and services. The role works closely with technical and product teams to translate complex technical information into simple and accessible content for end users.

Responsibilities

• Create, edit, and maintain technical documentation including user manuals, SOPs, API documentation, installation guides, and release notes
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and support teams to gather accurate technical information
• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly content
• Maintain and organize documentation libraries, knowledge bases, and internal resources
• Review and edit documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and clarity
• Ensure all documentation follows company writing standards and style guidelines
• Participate in product discussions and updates to stay informed on new features and changes
• Continuously improve documentation processes, tools, and usability for end users

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Communications, or related field
• 2+ years of experience in technical writing, preferably in the software or IT industry
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex technical concepts
• Familiarity with software development basics, APIs, and technical systems
• Basic understanding of programming languages (e.g., C#, JavaScript, Python) is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple documentation projects effectively

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
