Job Responsibilities: -

1. Retail Design & Planning

• Develop retail concept designs, space planning, and layout optimization.
• Prepare architectural and interior drawings for retail fit-out works
• Ensure designs comply with local authorities, mall regulations, and fire safety requirements

2. Interior Design & Fit-Out

• Prepare interior design concepts, material boards, and 3D visualisations
• Specify finishes, furniture, lighting, and signage.

3. Authority & Mall Submission

• Prepare drawings and documents for authority submissions (BOMBA, local council, mall management)
• Coordinate revisions based on comments from authorities or landlords
• Ensure compliance with fire escape, accessibility, and safety requirements

4. Documentation & Reporting

• Prepare design presentations, proposals, and approval documents
• Maintain updated drawings, revisions, and approval records
• Support project timeline and design coordination

5. Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior.

Job Requirement: -

• Degree in Architecture/Interior Design or equivalent
• Minimum 3 years of working experience and good technical knowledge of requirements for interior design, fit-out works and BQ
• Knowledge in 3D, Sketchup and Auto-CAD software is essential and rendering skills
• Good communications and ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A good team player and lead department for resourceful, mature and creative with an eye for details
• Competent in written and spoken English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin would be an added advantage
• Willing to work odd hours

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
