About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated AI Systems Specialist to help lead our transition into an AI-enabled organization. You will be the technical bridge between our frontline travel consultants, our operational teams, and our external AI development vendors. You will own the lifecycle of our internal workflow automations—from understanding the daily friction points of our staff, to co-developing an AI roadmap, to overseeing the development and technical integration of AI applications with our custom travel databases and messaging platforms. This is a long-term career opportunity. Your goal is to deeply understand our business, absorb the technical architecture from our vendors, and eventually become one of the foundational pioneers of our in-house AI Centre of Excellence.

The Journey & Performance Milestones:

Phase 1: Discovery & The AI Roadmap (Months 1–3 - Probationary Period)

• Sit with our internal stakeholders to map out complex booking workflows and identify high-ROI operational bottlenecks.
• Work directly with our external tech vendor to translate these business problems into a concrete, phased 12-month "AI & Automation Roadmap." * Note: Successful delivery and vendor alignment on this roadmap is the key KPI for probation confirmation.

Phase 2: The Proof of Concept (Months 3–6)

• Act as the technical lead during our first major tech rollouts
• Review the vendor’s API architecture. Test the endpoints, workflow logic, and prompt engineering yourself to ensure the AI's responses meet our high standards before live deployment.

Phase 3: Scale & Internalization (Months 6+)

• Roll out the roadmap project-by-project across different business units.
• Absorb the technical knowledge from the vendor. Take ownership of workflow maintenance, write custom scripts as needed, and anchor our newly formed AI Centre of Excellence.

Requirements:
Qualifications, Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in technical operations, systems integration, or IT business analysis. (Highly driven fresh graduates with relevant internship/project experience will be strongly considered). Experience managing external technical vendors is a strong plus.

Hard Skills

• Data & Scripting: Proficiency in SQL to query complex databases and analyze customer behaviors, and Python to write lightweight middleware scripts, process data, and connect APIs.
• Systems Integration: Practical, hands-on understanding of how modern web platforms communicate (REST APIs, Webhooks, JSON).
• Workflow Automation: Familiarity with the logic behind middleware and visual workflow automation tools.
• AI & LLMs: Strong foundational knowledge of Large Language Models, prompt engineering, and concepts like RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation).

Soft Skills (The Attitude):

• The Translator: You can explain a technical API rate-limit to a Sales Director, and translate the nuance of a multi-city tour package to a backend software developer.
