Senior Java Developer

Experience: 5+ Years | Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to take ownership of complex technical initiatives and help shape the direction of our engineering practices. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality, scalable solutions while mentoring junior members of the team.

What You'll Do

• Architect, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based applications and services
• Lead technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture decisions
• Drive code quality through code reviews, standards enforcement, and best practice adoption
• Collaborate with product, business, and infrastructure teams to deliver end-to-end solutions
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, scalability issues, and technical debt
• Mentor and provide guidance to junior and mid-level developers
• Contribute to Agile ceremonies and help refine engineering processes

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional Java development experience
• Strong command of OOP, design patterns, and software architecture principles
• Proven experience with Spring Boot and building production-grade RESTful or microservices-based systems
• Solid knowledge of relational and/or NoSQL databases and query optimization
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and Git-based workflows
• Ability to lead technical conversations and translate complex requirements into practical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills with a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and cloud-native development
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to event-driven architectures and messaging systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Prior experience in regulated or enterprise-scale environments
