Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Support

• Lesson Preparation: Assist teachers in preparing the Science lab and necessary apparatus for lessons.
• Experiment Assistance: Help teachers conduct experiments and Science practical tasks.
• Maintenance: Ensure the cleanliness of the lab, equipment, and apparatus so they are ready for immediate use.
• Inventory Management: Maintain records for Science Room inventory and manage the collection and return of borrowed items.
• Procurement: Assist in procuring required materials, chemicals, and apparatus.

Environmental & Outdoor Learning

• Garden Maintenance: Water plants in the Eco and Racial Harmony Gardens.
• Landscaping Oversight: Monitor landscaping and pond maintenance; supervise external contractors and sign job acceptance forms.
• Animal Care: Clean tortoise enclosures and feed the tortoises in the Racial Harmony Garden.
• Learning Trails: Assist with outdoor learning trails conducted by the school.

School Operations & Admin

• Safety Support: Assist in ensuring students enter and leave the school safely at the entrance/exit during the afternoon.
• General Admin: Provide support for administrative matters and prepare teaching resources for other subjects.
• Holiday Support: During school holidays, provide housekeeping, packing, and student supervision support as an Operations Support Officer (OSO).

Requirements Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Minimum ITE or GCE "N" Level certificate.
• Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attitude: Must possess a positive attitude and strong dedication to work.
• Experience: Previous experience working in a school environment is preferred, though fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Compliance & Deployment

• Approval: Candidates must be approved by the Authority prior to deployment.
• Progressive Wage Mark: The employing contractor must maintain a valid Progressive Wage (PW) Mark or PW Mark Plus if eligible.
• Employment Standards: Must comply with the Employment Act and all relevant local regulations.

Pay: $1,413.55 - $2,800.00 per month

Education:

• GCE 'O' Level or GCE 'N' Level (Required)

Experience:

• Science Laboratory Assistant: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

• GCE "N" Level (Required)
