Requirements
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for this position.
- Candidates must at least have a minimum of a Professional Certificate of some sort - a Diploma, Advanced / Higher / Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, Post Graduate Diploma and/or Professional Degree in Engineering (Computer Sciences / Telecommunications), Computer Sciences / Information Technology, or equivalent, in a relevant field.
- Valued skills and experiences: critical thinking and problem solving, wide understanding of different I.T. solutions and applications, e.g. SaaS and CASB, databases, Active Directory, etc., configuration, management, operation, and maintenance of I.T. network & security solutions, such as network firewalls, VPNs, enterprise level endpoint protection and anti-virus solutions, email protection and anti-spam, URL and web filtering, Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS), Web Application Firewalls (WAF), security assessment tools and processes (GRC), etc.
- Prior knowledge and experience in configuring & managing I.T. network infrastructure and architectures, i.e., routers, network switches, firewalls, Wi-Fi access points and controllers, etc.
- Must possess own transport. Candidates will have to travel often within the Klang Valley region, and even the entire Peninsula, and may even have the chance to travel to East Malaysia.
- Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia
- Based in Kuala Lumpur.
- Applicants should be Malaysian citizens, or hold a relevant permanent residence status.
Responsibilities
- To provide Consultation, Network Design, Planning, Installation, Implementation, and Documentation, for I.T. network and security projects and cases involved.
- To provide technical pre-sales support to the Sales Team.
- Provide support and guidance to the Information Managers by sharing design knowledge, best practice, methodologies, approaches, and solutions to achieve business requirements.
- Responsible for the administration and enforcement of IT security policies, configurations, procedures for Network Systems, for clients, and the entire UES Group of companies.
- Be the subject matter expert for the solutions we carry and product specific activities, including coordinating demos and testing, preparing tenders, product presentations, deployment and implementations, support and maintenance, customer service, etc.
