Requirements
- Candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/ Accounting with professional Qualification (ACCA/CIMA/MICPA).
- Candidate with Diploma in Accounting or partial professional qualifications will be considered if they have relevant working experience.
- Minimum 8 years of working experience in related field. Preferably with working experience in Tech or Telecommunication environment. Familiarity with Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, Securities Commission Rules & Regulations & Companies Act is an added advantage.
- Possess integrity, assertiveness and good problem solving skill and strong analytical.
- Pleasant personality with a good interpersonal skill and able to interact with people from all levels.
- Possess communications skills both in oral and written English & Bahasa Malaysia. Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Computer literacy- Microsoft Office especially of Excel and experience in AutoCount Accounting Software would be an added advantage.
Responsibilities
- To handle fullest of accounts and responsible for closing and preparation of monthly, Quarterly and Annual accounting reports including group consolidation, tax computations, annual budget and others financial report.
- Responsible to prepare bank reconciliation and monitor daily bank balances to ensure the Company’s cash flow position is positive.
- Responsible to manage and monitor company performance including assessment of product costing and profitability.
- Gather, collate, analyze and validate data as necessary in order to prepare and maintain various reports and performance summaries.
- Responsible to ensure company’s accounting records & systems are complied with company’s policies, related tax & statutory requirements.
- Supervise and review of team’s Journal entries and ensure inter-companies accounts are accurate and maintain up to date General Ledger.
- To involve managing a team for the Company’s day to day finance operations.
- Continuous improvement and implementation of process, policies and internal control, relation to accounting and reporting as well as overall business flow.
- Liaise with Auditors, Tax Consultant, Bankers, Telco and government authority in relation to any accounting matters
- Other ad-hoc assignments instructed by the superior from time to time.
