POSITION - LOGISTICS OPERATION ASSISTANT
LOCATION - PULAU INDAH, PORT KLANG
SALARY - RM *************
Job Descriptions
To build, establish, maintain and improve relationships with customers
Ensure consignment orders are processed accurately based on the order and instructions given by the customers
and/or management.
Able to communicate and coordinate with Shippers, Customers, Customs broker, Transporters on cargo
transportations/status.
Work closely with Warehouse Operations to ensure timely and accurate movements of inventory.
Assist in customs documentation and ensure accurate declaration of import and export permits.
Maintain a systematic document filing.
Ensure prompt billing of invoices and assisting in overdue payment collection.
Perform any other ad hoc assigned by the department head.
Requirements
Diploma holder in Logistics & Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
1-2 years of relevant experience in the logistics field
Positive working attitude & be a good team player.
Proficient in MS Office Applications, e.g., Excel/words.
Shipping/ logistics management, good interpersonal skills
Neat and discipline on documentation.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
Able to communicate in English & Bahasa Melayu.
