Maintenance Supervisor need to control and participate in the operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and machinery on board ship, perform related supporting functions on shore, lead and guide co-workers to perform tasks efficiently.

Tasks include –

• Plan daily, weekly, monthly scheduled maintenance job and execute accordingly.
• Control, lead and provide guidance to co-workers within same units on how to perform maintenance work correctly and efficiently.
• Controlling and participating in the operation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic equipment and machinery on board ship;
• Maintaining records of daily, weekly, monthly job task;
• Performing the installation, maintenance and repair of ships’ machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations;
• Inspecting and conducting maintenance and emergency repairs to engines, machinery and auxiliary equipment;
• Standing engine room watch, monitoring and noting performance of engines, machinery and auxiliary equipment.
• Constantly Improve and upgrade on maintenance team's performance and co-operate with management and operation team to ensure smooth operation flow.
