Requirements
- Experience: Previous work experience in a similar role would be advantageous
- Basic Barista Skills: Familiarity with basic barista skills and techniques.
- Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of our business.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members.
- Team Player: Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude, contributing positively to a dynamic team environment.
- Health and Safety Knowledge: Strong understanding of health and safety protocols and best practices.
Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Assist in the smooth operation of the bar counter with guidance from senior staff.
- Beverage Preparation: Prepare a variety of beverages according to established recipes and standards, ensuring quality and consistency.
- Order Management: Process customer orders accurately, with a keen attention to details like coffee blend preferences, dairy and sugar ratios, and specific requests for other beverages to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
- Cleanliness: Keep the bar area clean and organized, maintaining adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Equipment Maintenance: Perform basic maintenance tasks and report any issues to senior staff.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Follow all health and safety protocols to provide a safe environment for both customers and staff.
- Customer Feedback: Relay customer feedback to senior staff and provide input on new menu items.
