Requirements

As a Compliance Manager in the Payment Solutions industry with responsibilities related to Initial Public Offering (IPO) tasks, you will ensure that the company adheres to all relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards. You will manage compliance risks, develop and implement compliance policies, and support the company in its IPO preparations and processes. This role requires a strong understanding of both the payment solutions industry and IPO regulations, along with exceptional analytical and communication skills. 

  • Bachelor Degree in Law, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in compliance within financial services or payment solutions industry.
  • Proficiency in English and Mandarin is a must.
  • Experienced with IPO processes and related regulatory requirements will be an added value.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to payment solutions globally.
  • Familiarity with HKSAR rules and regulations in the payment industry.
  • Strong understanding of IPO regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in compliance management tools.
  • Ensures accuracy and thoroughness in all compliance-related tasks.
  • Maintains high ethical standards and acts with honesty and transparency,
  • Analyse complex regulaturt requirements and develops effective compliance strategies.
  • Work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
  • Occasional travel may be required for regulatory meetings, industry conferences etc
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment.
  • Ability to wear multiple hats and take on diverse responsibilities as needed.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.

Responsibilities

COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT

  • Ensure the company adheres to all relevant regulations, including but not limited to AML, data protection, and payment processing standards.
  • Monitor changes in relevant laws and regulations and update internal policies accordingly.
  • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain strong relationships to ensure timely and effective communications.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Conduct regular compliance audits and assessments to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Ensure effective communication and training on compliance policies across the organisation.
  • Identify, assess, and manage compliance risks.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
  • Conduct periodic risk assessments and report findings to senior management.
  • Monitor transactions and activities for compliance with internal policies and external regulations
  • Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities and senior management.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues and breaches.

IPO RELATED TASKS

  • Support the IPO process by ensuring all regulatory requirements are met.
  • Collaborate with legal, financial, and business steams to prepare necessary documentations.
  • Assist in the preparation and review of the prospectus and other IPO-related materials.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of regulaturt filings related to IPO.
  • Coordinate with external advisors, such as legal counsel and investment bankers, to ensure compliance with IPO regulations.
  • Conduct compliance due diligence to identify and address any potential regulatory issues
  • Assist in responding to due diligence queries from underwriters, investors, and regulators.
  • Develop and implement post-IPO compliance polices and procedures.
  • Monitor compliance with ongoing reporting and disclosure requirements.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance to the company on compliance matters post-IPO.
