Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience in a related area preferred.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to stay calm and in professional ways when dealing with the customers.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and oral instructions.
  • Preferable candidate with good attitude, fast learner, and customer oriented.
  • Ability to correctly sort and distribute large amounts of mail.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
  • Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
  • Answering screening and forwarding incoming phone calls.
  • Receiving visitors at the front desk by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
  • Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms, and brochures).
  • Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
  • Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook, issue visitor badges).
  • Sorts and delivers incoming mail by department and/or business function to ensure timely distribution as when required.
  • Maintains records of receipt, mailing dates, and other required information as when required.
