The Job
- Liaise with consultant for Engineering design and calculation in mechanical, structural and electrical & electronics.
- Industrial and engineering design
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Develop overall concept of new product and implement policies, standards and procedures for the engineering and technical work performed in the department, service, laboratory or firm.
The Candidate
- Tertiary engineering field, certified practice engineer preferred
- Degree in Mechanical or Structural Engineering
- At least 5 year of relevant working experience in related field
- Familiar with global and local in-country engineering standards
- Good written and spoken in English & Mandarin
- Willing to travel extensively and posting overseas
- Good communication skill & managing people
Responsibilities
- Cost estimation & cost optimization through industrial engineering
- Application with approving bodies for compliance to most global and local in country engineering standards
- Study, plan, and execute strategic planning
- Direct, review, and approve product design and changes.
- Coordinate and direct projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
