Hi there. My personal opinion. A functional working relationship between coworkers will have active dialogue and mutual respect. It is normal for superior to hold certain degree of ego. But sometimes it could be us (the subordinate) think we are smarter. In regard to 'Abuse', sexual harassment has to be zero-tolerance. You may seek HR consultation or legal advise for next course of action. If verbal abuse/overwork, normally would best to confront / open-up discussion. But warn you, the ending may not be desirable. End of the day, if you think it is not worthwhile to make an argument, leaving or transfer to other department could be consider.
